In November, on the strong suggestion from my friend Mary Rudis, I decided to start playing with the time lapse feature on my phone while I painted. Around that same time I also wanted to make a Christmas ornament for a friend. So I set up my camera and started drawing their puppy on a small, blank, wooden medallion. It turned out that a lot of people loved it and wanted their own. It went so well, that I ran out of medallions, and bought out the local art and crafts stores. And Amazon couldn’t get more to me until after Christmas.
That got me thinking, maybe I should try my hand at more breeds. So, I launched a new website and pledged to do 30 different dog paintings in 30 days. And I did it. Ahead of schedule.
So, without further ado, here are all 30 paintings.

Each breed is available in my shop, or you can custom order one of your pet.
My next goal is to do a bunch of different botanical drawings/paintings. I’m calling it Flora for February.
